Mazacruz Tinto

The vineyard, located in the Dehesa de los Llanos estate in Albacete, Spain (Tierra de Castilla) is situatuated on land that was already being used by Franciscan monks for wine-making in the 18th century. The vineyard has been carefully developed and is dedicated to growing Mediterranean grape varieties. They harvest at night to control oxidation and keep the primary aromas.

Not only do they produce great wines on this beautiful landscape but they also produce an exceptional Manchego Gran Reserva which picked up the Official
Overall Cheese Champion at the annual World Cheese Awards 2012 out of 2,788 entrants from 30 countries.

Tasting Notes: Beautiful red ruby color. A full bodied wine exhibiting rich aromas with hints of coffee against a background of blackberry, black cherry and lavender notes. Elegant and incredibly well balanced. It reveals excellent volume, concentration and a fruit-filled finish
