Lar de Maía (Organic)

Lar de Maía made from Tempranillo and Garnache grapes and from organic farming, so no chemical products, such as herbicides, synthetic pesticides etc are used, just natural products, protecting ground, water and climate, promoting biodiversity. Amongst the vineyards are a number of fields planted with cereals and other crops such as thyme and olive trees, keeping an ecosystem unique in the area. The soil composition is mainly sandy clay loam with varying amounts of clay, gravel and limestone. Vine management is carried out by hand with each plant pruned individually. Harvesting is carried out completely manually as soon as the grapes have reached their peak ripeness. After the initial selection is made, a second selection is also made. This is their first vintage 2010, and its a beauty.
