In 1930, Jose's grandfather planted a vineyard in the mountains surrounding his home, with the intention of making a wine to offer in their home with meals. The vineyard has been kept within the family and today belongs to Jose "I work mainly with old vineyards, which are the legacy of my father and my grandfather. They worked in the wine world all their life and they have made it possible for me to have those vines". Some of their vines are more than 100 years old. In 2012, he started by producing just 6,000 bottles divided between 3 different wines.
