Spanish White beans - Cooked (Organic)
Artisan and family producers Cachopo are dedicated to the cultivation of organic beans and vegetables from their farm in Colmenar de Oreja, Madrid. Beans are low in fat and very high in nutrients. The selection of their beans is based on quality first. When selected, they are washed and manually sorted, removing any inferior beans. They are expertly cooked to retain their all the natural goodness, resulting in a lovely mild and creamy taste, with a soft, smooth texture. Very versatile, they lend themselves well in stews and hotpots, with meats, vegetables and potatoes, absorbing the flavours of other ingredients through gently cooking. They also go very well in soups, in salads or on their own as a tasty mash. What stands out most with the beans and vegetable of Cachopo is the wonderful and unmistakable taste of home cooking, which is due to the expertise in cultivating, selecting and cooking.
