Risotto Rice ‘Marisma’ 500g
Lending itself well to risotto, rice pudding and soups, Marisma rice from Moli de Rafelet is an exceptional example of rice grain. It cooks in less time than conventional rice and gives a creamy, silky finish to dishes with consistently delicious results.
It is in the unspoilt Ebro Delta Natural Park in Spain where one family has been producing outstanding rice for the last 100 years. The limited production rice varieties offered by artisan producers Moli de Rafelet are considered by many to be the best available in Spain and the key to their success is tradition.
Growing most of the rice themselves as well as milling and packing by hand, the Margalef family use traditional techniques passed down through the generations. Each grain is carefully milled using the only existing wooden mill in Spain, which was handcrafted by the family. Throughout the production process no additives or preservatives are used to create this superior quality rice, with a unique flavour and perfect texture.
Like our Bomba rice, Marisma is vacuum packed for freshness and as it does not contain any additives or preservatives it should be refrigerated once opened.
