Monkfish Liver

Ankimo - the Japanese delicacy of Monkfish Liver - otherwise known as 'Foie Gras of the Sea', has a delicate flavour of shellfish, creamy in texture and silky on the palate. It can be very enjoyable when served on canapés. It works well when partnered with foods opposite in texture - like crispy vegetables, vegetable crisps etc. Or try it simply on toasts and wholewheat bread with lemon and Flor de Sal. Before you know it you?ll be creating your own canapés with your own favourite ingredients.
