Onion Chorizo from Galicia 100% natural
An exceptionally good chorizo, succulent and sweet tasting that goes well with a number of dishes and produced by a small family producer. Can be enjoyed in the summer time as a side dish or in winter dishes such as stews, casseroles, paellas, tortilla etc. This chorizo is usually boiled and is used in 'Cocido Gallego', a traditional Galician recipe that goes back centuries. Naturally smoked over an oak wood fire, it is extremely tasty when added to your 'Tortilla Espanola'.
Please note, for best results, if boiling, do not cook for longer than 40 minutes, if frying, for around 10 minutes, depending on temperature and if chorizo is left whole or sliced. Do not over cook.
