Sea Salad 50g
Containing Wakame (Undaria Pinnatifida), Nori (Porphyra Purpurea) and Sea Lettuce (Ulva Rigida).
It is tasty eaten raw in fish dishes and tossed in salads. When boiled it is the perfect ingredient for soups, creams, hotpots, croquettes and pies. To enhance its flavour, lightly bake it in the oven. Delicious with rice dishes, pasta or cereals.
Wakame, Nori, Sea Lettuce Seaweed
Soak for 10 minutes in slightly salted water. Can be added directly to boiling water. Should not be cooked for longer than 15 minutes.
Sea vegetables generally, and in particular these 3 species, are low-calorie foods rich in proteins, fibre, vitamins and minerals.
