Hand-picked, selected Mencía grapes from the steep, sun-soaked Valdeorras (Golden Valley) area produce this essential raspberry-rich red. Cellar for two to five years. Clean, fresh, fruity with excellent aroma of raspberries and red fruit, toasted with a little note of vanilla from the new wooden barrels. Fresh, light, exquisite, rounded and rich, with a fruity touch and a pleasurable end.

Between 16-18°C

100% Mencía. Twelve months in oak and another twelve in the bottle.

An excellent choice with meat or paella.

Considered one of the essential wines for a cellar. Awarded the Golden medal at the Wine International Salon 2005. Awarded the Golden Medal at the 15th edition of Tasting Galician Wines. Received the Silver Medal at the fifth Wine International Salon, Madrid 2004. Awarded 86 points by the Peñin guide.
