Pedralonga Barrica (Biodynamic)

Pedralonga Barrica (Biodynamic)

This elegant and flavourful wine is the first biodynamic wine of Galicia, produced from vines planted some 150 metres over the river Umia. The family of Fancisco Alfonso has elaborated wine for generations, continuing traditional methods based on the guidelines that mark the lunar phases. Cultivated on Royat rope trellising, manually harvested and hand-selected, followed by fermentation in French Allier oak barrels for six months, the result is an impressive and precise wine.

In the mouth, a light and elegant smoky flavour, with herbal spices and minerals. Bright straw colour with ripe fruit aroma, good acidity with a certain persistence. 1,200 bottles produced each year.

Between 10-12°C

100% Albariño. Six months in French Allier oak barrels.

Enjoy with fish and seafood, particularly oysters, razor calms (natural), octopus and light dishes.
