Roasted Pistachio Nuts (Organic) 150g
Our organic Pistachio nuts are roasted in small batches with oak and olive tree and by artisans with more than four generations of expertise. These delicious pistachios originate from the Priorat region of Spain. In June the trees take on a spectacular green and pink colour that brings alive the whole landscape. Harvesting takes place in July and is done manually. Once the skin has been removed the crop spends 40 days sun drying. Roasting is done by experts and takes place at the family’s traditional Catalan farmhouse, a farmhouse that dates back to the mid-seventeenth century. The natural smokiness of the nuts, which is a direct result of the roasting process, sets them apart from anything you’ve ever tasted before. A delicious snack that can be eaten at any time, added to main dishes and salads.
