Caramelised Walnuts from Priorat
Priorat has taken these sweet crunchy Spanish walnuts and cooked them in sugar and water to add a crispy, candied coating. These are great eaten with either sweet or savoury foods. Add them to yoghurt, or ice cream, use them in cakes, or contrast sweet with savoury and serve them with a fine Spanish cheese.
