Via Romana
A classic, crisp red from the small village of Belesar and named for being located on an ancient Roman road. Aged six months in stainless-steel vats and another six bottled, the fresh Mencía grapes offer a hint of mint and cherry aromas. Dark garnet/purple colour with a bluish edge. Elegant fruit and floral nose (blackberry) and a pleasant herbal touch of fresh-cut hay. Blackberry/raspberry fruit dominates the palate: medium bodied with a fresh crisp acidity, nice complexity and great length.
