Spanish Cheeses

 

We're crazy about cheese and Spain boasts some of the world's best. In 2012 the Manchego Gran Reserva from Dehesa de los Llanos wowed the judges, winning the title of World Cheese Champion at the annual World Cheese Awards. Here you can find this and other Spanish greats, such as Idiazabal, Mahon and Cabrales, a cave-aged blue cheese and probably Spain's strongest cheese.

Spanish Charcuterie

 

Charcuterie is quite often consumed as it comes but many varieties can be used as an ingredient in a variety of regional dishes after cooking. Every region in Spain has its own ancestral recipes and sausage making traditions. Such variety in flavour, aroma, shape, texture and colour means Spain is one of the most exciting producers in the world of pork gastronomy.

Small Producer Wines

 

When sourcing a good wine, whether its a Rioja, Mencia, Albariño or Godello, we have just as high expectations as when sourcing a new cheese or cured ham. So we sometimes work with, amongst other wine professionals, Xoan Cañas, (Nariz de Oro) golden nose awarded sommelier in Spain. Our wines are from small producers and family vineyards and each have their own story to tell.
